How we build size guides that help a real purchase decision

SizeChartBase is an independent sizing reference. Our purpose is to make measurements, conversions, and fit trade-offs understandable—not to imply an affiliation with a brand or replace an exact product chart.

1

Start with the user decision

Each guide is written to help a shopper measure, compare a chart, and test fit for one specific product type or brand context. We do not create a page merely by swapping a keyword in a shared article.

2

Separate standards from product facts

General conversion tables and measuring methods are presented as starting points. Claims about an individual product, its available sizes, material, or fit must be checked against the current seller or brand listing before purchase.

3

Show the method

Where a guide recommends a measurement, it explains where to place the tape, what to compare, and what can change the result—such as width, rise, stretch, socks, lining, or intended activity.

4

Review and correct

We welcome correction requests at support@sizechartbase.com. When an item-specific detail changes or cannot be supported, it should be corrected, qualified, or removed rather than retained to make a page appear fresh.

What our charts are—and are not

Our standard charts help translate measurements and regional labels. They are useful for preparing to shop, comparing products, or building a store's reference material. They cannot guarantee fit because a product's last, pattern, fabric, manufacturing tolerance, and the wearer's preference all matter.

For brand pages, we link to the relevant official site where available and clearly identify the guide as independent. We avoid presenting guessed test results, fabricated reviewer feedback, or an automatically generated “last updated” date as evidence. If a page refers to a source, the reader should be able to inspect that source or understand that the guidance is a general measurement method.

Corrections and feedback

Have a correction, a current product source, or a measurement issue to report? Contact support@sizechartbase.com with the URL, product identifier, country storefront, and the information that needs review. We use that detail to evaluate a correction rather than relying on unsourced comments.
